Tigers are beautiful creatures and have always been a fascination for many. We have been losing tigers in the wild and its population declined by 97% over a century. There are just 3,200 in the wild today. Some of the subspecies have already become extinct (Caspian tiger, Javan tiger, and Bali tiger) while the South Chinese tiger is extinct in the wild. There are just around 400 – 500 tigers each of the Siberian and Sumatran tiger. We all have a role to ensure that there are tigers left.
